Publication Ethics
SCHOULID: Indonesian Journal of School Counseling is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and takes all necessary measures to prevent publication malpractice. The journal adheres to internationally recognised ethical principles for scholarly publishing as set out by COPE.
Authors
Authors must ensure that their manuscripts are original, have not been published previously, and are not under consideration elsewhere. All sources must be properly cited, and any form of plagiarism, data fabrication, or falsification is unacceptable. Authors should accurately reflect individual contributions through appropriate authorship and disclose any potential conflicts of interest. If significant errors are identified after publication, authors are obliged to cooperate with the editor to correct or retract the article.
Editors
Editors are responsible for making publication decisions based on academic merit, originality, and relevance to the journal’s scope. Manuscripts are evaluated fairly and objectively, without discrimination. Editors must ensure a confidential and unbiased peer review process and avoid conflicts of interest in editorial decision-making.
Reviewers
Reviewers contribute to editorial decisions through objective, confidential, and constructive evaluations. Manuscripts under review must be treated as confidential, and reviewers must declare any conflicts of interest. Reviewers should identify relevant uncited work and report any ethical concerns to the editor.
Publisher
The publisher supports the editorial team in upholding ethical standards and ensuring the integrity of the scholarly record. Editorial independence is fully respected, and appropriate actions such as corrections or retractions are implemented when necessary.
